The First Day-Renton

First day started with a busy morning; finish packing, wait for the rug shampoo company to come clean the rugs, then in the car and off we go. The worry about road conditions was wasted as the roads were clear all the way to Renton, even the pass which had NO restrictions for tires. Arriving in Renton we found our granddaughter, Maya, setting up a chocolate stand where she made $7 to donate to the Childrens Hospital in Seattle. Needless to say we're very proud of her.

Bryan and Michelle had invited our other granddaughter, April, her fiance, Michael, and our great- grand daughter, Kloe, over for a dinner. We had a nice visit with them. Dinner was homemade lasagna and homemade minestrone soup, thanks Michelle and Bryan. After dinner, most of us went sledding and had a great time. We opened the gifts from April and family and they opened ours to them (just a little early Christmas).
Great start to our trip.

Wow! I cant believe how big (and old) the grandkids are getting! Must make me ancient at the tender old age of 44 3/4! I saw the picture of Aaron and could not believe it; I guess I have just kept them young and small in my mind. Sounds like you are have a great time - love to all and Merry Christmas!!!!

You sure thats Adam? The age says 18 and I thought Aaron was your youngest? Lizzy is only 17 and I thought Adam was like two years older than her!?!
How is life treating you? Tell me about all the kids; who are now adults. Boy, I AM getting old!!!!
Love Julie

Well Julie, I could be wrong about one of my children..., NOT :-)
Adam will turn 19 next month, Aaron is 17, Amber 21, and April is 24, with little Kloe being 5.
Shan and I still have the boy's at home, while Amber lives with her Fiance. They have set Nov of 2010 for their wedding after she completes college.
